STATE & LOCAL EVENTS
With each
new season comes exciting adjustment to the outworking of vision
and mandate. Many States are now hosting wonderful STATE-WIDE
EVENTS/CONFERENCES that carry the heart of ACW and
give expression to the strength of ministry emerging across
our nation. Maximise and benefit from these local, regional
and state events by contacting your State representative.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE
At the request
and endorsement of the AOG National Executive, the COLOUR YOUR
WORLD Women's Conference serves (since 2002 and for this season)
as the national ACW women's gathering. An initiative of Hillsong
Church, the COLOUR conference is held each March in Sydney and
gathers women and leaders from both across Australia and the
nations. The mandate of COLOUR is "to place value upon
womanhood" and in true Hillsong Church spirit, exists to
champion the local church.
The conference is purposefully 'user-friendly' to the unchurched,
and is regarded by many as a benchmark and point of inspiration
for leadership teams.

MISSIONS
As women
mobilise within their own local churches, our hope is that they
will run with the vision of the House in which they are planted.
At local level, there is no end of mission endeavour within
our local communities that we can discover and become involved
in.
On a wider or more global scene, we encourage you to work with
the vision of your local church OR contact the AOG Missions
Department for endeavours that are in need of support.

RESOURCE
Bible studies
and resource relating to women is an ever changing and interesting
request, because of the changing culture and needs within each
local church. Many churches these days are producing their own
resource in accordance with the vision of their House (eg: the
more traditional Bible Studies are being replaced with Cell
structure and studies that fit with the vision of that particular
church).
Some suggestions, should you be lacking in direction, are
to:
- Contact
the strong resource centres in our nation, and find out
what is current and available.
- Contact
other churches that you are in relationship with, or feel
are of 'like-spirit' and enquire as to what they are doing
or using. (Building such relationships is healthy and most
leaders are more than willing to help)
- Take
a great leadership book, which has the endorsement of your
senior church leadership, and build a study applicable to
women out of it.

RELATIONSHIP & PRAYER
To flourish
in life and ministry we need to nurture relationships and bathe
our lives in prayer. To that end, we can't encourage you enough
to maximise the networks of friendship that are formulating
through regional and state events. Obviously the greatest vehicle
for relationship and prayer comes through your local church,
but again, ACW exists to complement. Make yourself known to
the people around you, and don't be afraid to put up your hand
if you need help.

Unless individual
State Executives financially contribute, ACW is funded through
the support of faithful givers. If you believe in the vision
